After competing with 417 districts, Tabalong finally won the Most Innovative District in the 2021 Innovative Government Award (IGA) from the Ministry of Home Affairs.
The IGA certificate and trophy were handed over directly to Tabalong Regent H Anang Syakhfiani at the Sasana Bhakti Praja Room of the Ministry, Wednesday (Dec 29, 2021).
Minister of Home Affairs M Tito Karnavian said that the local government innovation awarding is to build competitiveness for local government to show their real performance in development and services for the public.
”The public can also directly assess their their local government," the Minister pointed out.
Regent H Anang Syakhfiani was very grateful for the achievement in the local government innovation competition held by the Ministry.
”Alhamdulillah we are at the fourth place in the category of the MostInnovative District. This is very proud, especially last year we were scattered in the 274th rank or included in the Less Innovative District," he said.

Ranking fourth in Indonesia at the 2021 IGA, he said, was a proof to the hard work of all parties within the Tabalong District Government in making innovation and breakthrough and applied them to the public.
”We must continue to innovate as the Minister of Home Affairs said that innovation is a must in running the government," Anang emphasized.
Of the 34 innovations of the Tabalong government that the 2021 IGA team assessed, there were five mainstay innovations and breakthrough, namely Perumda Kanda Tani (regional public company increases farmers' income), Taman Beta (Stay smart and safe by learning through TV Tabalong), Paliat Online (Online Tabalong licensing application service), Langsat Manis (Free and convenient transportation service for the community), and Inovasi Tanjung Bersinar (Ask, take care, and support corona survivors).
