Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - President Joko Widodo is scheduled to carry out the takbir night and celebrate Eid al-Adha in Banjarmasin at the same time monitor the smog that since the last few weeks attacks South Kalimantan.


Acting Governor of South Kalimantan Tarmizi A Karim here on Monday said the president was scheduled to arrive in Syamsudin Noor Airport Banjarmasin on Wednesday (23/9).

Based on the information, he said, the President will directly into the field to find out exactly why South Kalimantan became one of the areas most severely affected smog.

Later that night, added Tarmizi, the president is scheduled to hold takbir together in Sabilal Muhtadin, and on Thursday (24/9) would Eid prayers at the largest mosque in South Kalimantan.

"This afternoon (Monday (21/9) we recently held a meeting for the reception and security of President Joko Widodo while awaiting his visit," he said.

Earlier, on Saturday (19/9) President reportedly paid a surprise visit to Banjarmasin to monitor smog. It turns out the plan fail, and replan a visit for this Wednesday.
