The commemoration of the 76th Mining Day at Bidakara Hotel, Jakarta, held by the Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Ministry has also become the acknowledgment of the record of efforts of PT Adaro Indonesia and corporate entities under the auspices of PT Adaro Energy Tbk.

In the event attended by the ESDM Minister Ariffin Tasrif, Adaro received an Aditama rating for the category of environmental management for mineral and coal mining.

While PT Saptaindra Sejati Job Site Adaro Tanjung was awarded for standardization management and overburden removal service business.

The award received by Director of PT Adaro Indonesia Priyadi was also a sweet gift for Adaro's 29th birthday.

"This ESDM award is the result of Adaro's commitment to implement good mining practices, of course with the support of the government, all employees, partners, and the community," said Priyadi.

According to Ariffin, the implementation of good mining practice, as an effort to improve mining governance launched by ESDM Ministry, is a barometer that is expected to encourage national mining companies to transform into leading mining companies.
