The Ministry of Finance through the State Treasury Service Office (KPPN) in Banjarmasin awarded the District Government of Barito Kuala (Batola) as the best in managing the distribution of physical Special Allocation Fund (DAK) in the first semester of 2021.

Head of Banjarmasin chapter of KPPN Tri Ananto, when presented the award to Regent Hj Noormiliyani AS at her official residence Wednesday (Sept 1, 2021) said that Batola's physical DAK management was the best compared to other districts and cities in South Kalimantan.

“Of six districts, cities, and the province, we judge Batola to have the best performance,” said Tri Ananto.

The best assessment was seen from the quickness, precision, and accuracy in managing documents in disbursement.

“Many requirements must be met and this is not easy, but Batola managed to meet them even faster than others,” he added.

In addition to the award in managing physical DAK, Batola Regent also received an award for the best management of village fund distribution in the first semester of 2021.

Regarding the village fund, Tri Ananto said that its distribution is not easy considering the district had to coordinate with the scattered villages.

In this case, the Batola government was again able to overcome all obstacles in the distribution. Even faster and better than other districts.

Regent Hj Noormiliyani was grateful for the two awards from KPPN Banjarmasin. “Alhamdulillah and we are grateful for this achievement which cannot be separated from the hard work and cooperation of all parties involved,” said the first female regent in South Kalimantan.
