Four of Tanah Laut's health workers received awards as role models in several categories from the South Kalimantan Health Agency.
They are Akbar Rihansyah from Padang Luas Village won the first best in the general practitioner category, Zuhairiyah from Padang Luas community health center (Puskesmas) won the third best for the category of environmental health, M Aditya from Bati-Bati Puskesmas won the third-best for the pharmaceutical category, and Yola Atika Sari Amd from Tambang Ulang Puskesmas won the first best in the category of medical laboratory technology expert.
Head of Tanah Laut Health Agency Hj Nina Sandra appreciated the district health workers for winning the achievement in the provincial level of South Kalimantan.
"Keep on your work for the advancement of the people of Tanah Laut and give services to improve the health status of the community," she said.
She said the winner of the first best will get Tabungan Pembangunan Nasional (Tabnas) saving of Rp10 million, the second-best Rp6 million, and the third-best Rp5 million.
Nina said that in previous years the winners of the best health award were invited to the Merdeka Palace to coincide with Independence Day. However, considering the COVID-19 pandemic, the symbolic award presentation is not held in 2021.
