The Provincial Military Command (Korem) of 101/Antasari rank of the Regional Military Command (Kodam) VI/Mulawarman have surpassed the COVID-19 vaccination target for the public to reach 140 percent of the plan in South Kalimantan. 

"Alhamdulillah every vaccine attack always exceeds the target, people's enthusiasm is very high to get the vaccine," said Commander of 101/Antasari Military Command Brig. Gen. TNI Firmansyah in Banjarmasin, Sunday.

At the Army Hospital of Dr. R. Soeharsono Banjarmasin, there were 1,648 people inoculated from the target per day of 1,000 people.

So did the Kodim (Military Command of) 1006/Martapura, who conducted vaccination in Banjarbaru city, 1,298 people came from the target of 1.254 people to get the vaccination.

"While on Saturday and Sunday at Duta Mall Banjarmasin, we target 2,000 people to be vaccinated. Insya Allah, it will be achieved, because one thousand have been inoculated yesterday," said the one-star general.

The vaccination campaign by his ranks in the 13 districts and cities in South Kalimantan was carried out simultaneously to support the acceleration of the vaccination program to the public realize the national target of one million vaccines a day.

"At the direction of  Indonesian Defense Forces (TNI) Commander through  Army Chief of Staff that TNI must be able to be a driver in the handling of COVID-19 vaccination. We assure people not to afraid to be vaccinated because vaccines are safe, healthy, and halal," he said.

For this reason, more participation of the public is hoped so as to form the community immunity that makes them more resistant to COVID-19 transmission.
