Amuntai, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Dozens of honorary teachers in North Hulu Sungai (HSU) become a victim of fraud on behalf of local Head of Employment Agency.


"The victims were asked to complete the file as a requirement of obtaining certification and transfer some money to the perpetrator," said Head of Procurement and Data Information of HSU Employment Agency (BKD), Taufiq, in Amuntai on Thursday.

The victims claimed to have phoned by someone claiming to be the Head of BKD and ask them promptly complete the file and transfer the handling costs of certification.

One honorary teacher, Hartati, teaching in MIN Rukam village, said the caller said that she passed the initial selection to obtain certification.

"This Hartati urged by the perpetrator immediately complete the file with a very tight deadline, including asked to transfer money Rp1 million to the account of the perpetrator," said co-victim, Abdur Rohim.

She finally suspicious and went to BKD after the offender demanded her to transfer Rp4 million by reason of BKN requesting that certification handling need of larger funds.

After receiving an explanation of BKD, fraud victim was advised to immediately report the case to the police. Moments later dozens of other honorary teachers also came to the police station to complain the same fraud.

BKD official, Taufiq, asserted not true that Head of BKD help take care of certification and urged the teachers not to easily believe the information via phone before crosscheck the truth of information to BKD.
Taufiq explained, related to this certification is not a matter or authority of BKD, but the affairs of the Education Agency.
