Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - After the flag-raising ceremony on Monday morning, the Sjamsudin Noor air base commander Lieutenant Colonel Pilot Erwin Sugiandi suddenly ordered all personnel to undergo urine test.
Urine tests to all officers, NCOs, enlisted and civil airfield of Sjamsudin Noor suddenly done by Rumkit and Pomau personnel in the Multipurpose Room of Sjamsudin Noor Air Base, Monday (2/2).
Commander said, urine test to improve discipline and early prevention of the circulation and use of drugs, particularly in the environment of SAM air base.
"We will continue to carry out urine tests periodically, but only Danlanud (commander) and the parties concerned know when," said Lieutenant Colonel Pilot Erwin Sugiandi.
SAM air base commander instructed all members to be careful in the association and stay away from all forms of abuse of drugs and alcohol, so SAM free from drug abuse.
In addition to the implementation of a urine test, all members of the airfield given legal enlightenment. Here conveyed legal sanctions against users and drug dealers, also discussed all issues relating to the discipline of soldiers, with the hope airfield clean from drugs, booze, and breach of discipline.
