Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Head of the Banjarmasin Public Order Agency (Satpol PP) Ichwan Nurkhaliq said his officers will continue to guard the eviction of settlements or buildings located on Jalan Veteran for the revitalization of the local rivers.
"One platoon of Satpol PP supervise the daily activities of demolition on Jalan Veteran, Central Banjarmasin sub-district, which begins January 28," he said on Thursday.
According to him, the Satpol PP escort to ensure the owners who claimed to dismantle the building themself really work, because the deadline is only for 15 days.
"So we asked them not to be stalling again, because if out the time limit have not completed, we are forced to act firmly to evict by force," he said.
"Of the 40 buildings demolished, only one building last Wednesday (28/1) was demolished using heavy equipment, because the owner did not dismantle himself," he explained.
