Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalimantan) - Over ten hours rain in Banjarmasin, even with a high enough intensity, accompanied by lightning, Sunday (28/12), make the most residential areas were flooded.
The rain began in the early morning at around 04.00 and reduced with only a small drop occurred around 14:00.
East Banjaramsin Subdistrict Head Ina Yuliani admits, a number of settlements in the area were flooded due to rain so long to happen today. "I've been watching a lot of puddles in a number of settlements," she said.
Puddle in residential areas is not only due to the rain, but also because of the tide. But usually, said Ina, puddles do not last very long, usually will soon recede.
According to Ina, the area which affected many puddles located in the Village of Kebun Bunga, Karang Mekar and Pekapuran.
