Tanjung, South Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - A total of 320 employees who work in a number of companies in Tabalong, South Kalimantan, affected by layoffs (known here as PHK) as a result of efficiency applied by the companies.
Section Head of Industrial Relations, the Tabalong Manpower and Transmigration Agency, Zainuddin, here on Monday said that this year layoff cases recorded at 73 which led to 320 employees stopped working.
"Of the 73 cases involving 19 companies in Tabalong, there were 320 employees dismissed on the grounds of efficiency due to the fall in world coal prices," said Zainuddin.
