The City Government of Banjarbaru received a school bus as a grant from the Ministry of Transportation on the basis of aspiration and support from a member of House of Representative's Commission V HM Rifqinizamy Karsayuda from South Kalimantan.

Rifqinizamy himself handed over the grant to Deputy Mayor Darmawan Jaya Setiawan on Wednesday at the Gawi Sabarataan Hall, Banjarbaru, witnessed by Head of Land Transportation Management Center (BPTD) Region XV Zulmardi.

"The bus assistance is expected to improve the safety of students when going to and returning from school. Everything is done in an effort to make students a golden generation," said Zulmardi. 

Deputy Mayor thanked the ministry for providing bus assistance for the third time and it will be used to facilitate student transportation to school.

"We also grateful to Rifqinizamy for supporting Banjarbaru to receive a school bus, so it can be used to increase student transportation," he said.

Rifqinizamy said South Kalimantan is the most to receive school bus assistance from the Ministry of Transportation and hopes that this means of transportation to be used optimally.
