Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (Antaranews) - Yahdinor (33), reckless snatcher on Jalan Sultan Adam, must feel the punch of an angry public.

He was caught after snatching a motorcyclist mother on Tuesday night. The perpetrator could only surrender and battered. Fortunately the special team of detectives for violent crimes ( Jatanras) police soon came and secured him.

"Officers quickly secured the offender to spare him from the wrath of the masses," said Chief of Criminal Detective (Reskrim) of Banjarmasin City Police Kompol Afner Sudarsono on Wednesday.

Even the actor's motorcycles, said Afner, almost burnt. Fortunately police could calm down the mass and it is now secured in North Banjarmasin Police Office.

Yahdinor, said Afner, grab bag of a mother, Rohana (30), a resident of  Sungai Andai, North Banjarmasin. She was on motorcycles along with his son who is 8 years old.

When passing in the Jalan Sultan Adam precisely infront of Boutique Sarijo, Rohana surprised her bag pulled tightly by someone who is also on motorcycles. The victims dropped, and the she shouted loudly
"Jambret" or snatcher.

"The cry of victim heard by people who then coming to save her and her son who fell off a motorcycle. Majority of other citizens confront the perpetrator who can not escape, and finally beaten by the masses," he
said.
