Secretary of Kotabaru DPRD's Commission I Rabbyansyah made a sudden inspection to special quarantine Stagen Hospital following many complaints about incomplete facilities, especially for the toilet.

After obtaining permission from dr Cita, the person in charge of quarantine, Robby, using standard PPE, accompanied by nurses and DPRD special staff, entered each quarantine room of the hospital, which is now occupied by 110 COVID-19 positive patients.

The Perindo politician said that in general the services for quarantine patients were relatively good, such as the availability of food and beverages, fruit, supplement, vitamin, and medicine.

"However, as complained by many patients, much talking about on social media, it is true that the availability of toilets, clothesline, TV, and internet (WiFi) networks are insufficient," said Roby, Monday.

Of the total 110 patients, placed on two floors with an average of 3-4 patients per room, the number of toilets is only nine, there is no separation for male and female.

Another thing that concerned him, there is water seepage from the second-floor toilet dripping into the first-floor toilet.

Other facilities complained about were the limited fans, some were damaged, and there was no clothesline, so patients made it very simply from raffia string stretched on several sides of the room, making it look chaotic.

The review continued to the second building of Stagen Hospital. It was found that in a much more decent condition. From coordination he has made with the local Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD), the building will be opened as a new quarantine place.

"If it is fixed, we ask some patients who are now undergoing quarantine in building one to be moved to building two, because there is a toilet in each room, air-condition, and washing machine,” Roby hoped.
