Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (Antaranews) - Sabhara Unit of Banjarmasin City Police nabbed another three drunken youths from drinking oplosan (deadly alcoholic cocktail) in a public place on Friday morning.
"When we're doing patrols, we found three young men drunk at Jalan Peare Tendean at around 0:01 am, and nabbed them," said Chief of Sabhara Unit Banjarmasin Police Commissioner MT Haryono on Friday.
He said the three drunkards were held binge drinking of adulterated alcohol type, and when nabbed there still remaining of alcohol secured in the bottle.
"The three brought to Banjarmasin Police Headquaters to be recorded, and submitted to the court to undergo further legal action, which threatened misdemeanor (tipiring)," he said.
He stated, when roving patrols often securing drunk who like to throw a party adulterated alcohol in public places. "We are concerned, they will do bad things because of alcohol affected. They endanger not only
themselves but also other people," he said.
According to him, the malicious behavior often occurs outside of awareness partly due to the influence of alcohol.
