Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (Antaranews) - About 50 truckers rallied at the office of Organization of Land Transportation Owners (Organda) Banjarmasin port to demand rationing of diesel fuel (BBM) fairly.


The driver was felt that the driver's organization is not fair in rationing of diesel fuel, said KPLP Banjarmasin police chief, Commissioner Fachrul Sebastian here on Thursday.

The driver went to the office at Jalan Barito Ilir at around 09.00 am and ended about two hours later. "The rally in the office was safe just about two hours, no quibble, let alone to the riots," he said.

Organda get diesel fuel ration from PT Pertamina to supply trucks to which they belong. Ration diesel for Organda members in the General Fuel Filling Station (SPBU) PT Duta Energy Insani in the Lingkar Selatan (South Rim), Basirih.

"Their complaints, the rations that they should get taken partly by transport not Organda members. They also suspect reseller that pick, so they did not get diesel fuel," he said.

To secure the demonstration, approximately 25 police officers deployed by KPLP. Besides backp up from the Banjarmasin Resort Police members.

Board Organda Banjarmasin port, Joko Wahono, said it had reached an agreement with the members associated with this problem. Among them, members who purchase diesel fuel must show Organda original sticker and Organda ID card. Purchase a maximum nominal amount of Rp300 thousand.
