Barito Kuala (Batola) Regent Hj Noormiliyani AS has reviewed the planned new quarantine location in the Alalak Sub-district Office area, Wednesday.
The Regent, who was accompanied by Head of Health Office Hj Azizah Sri Widari and Head of PR and Protocol (Humpro) Hery Sasmita, welcomed by Alalak Sub-district Head M Sya’rawi.
The new quarantine was prepared related to the plan for mass-rapid test with target locations traditional markets, housing complex, including Semangat Dalam Village.
Regent Noormiliyani said, the quarantine place will be used to accomodate People Under Monitoring (ODP) and asymptomatic people (OTG) for COVID-19.
"Considering the quarantine capacity at the SKB and Mess KTM Marabahan is limited, then we prepare a new place," she said.
The tracking intensified, she said, in consideration of COVID-19 cases in Batola has not yet shown a downward trend, instead it increased.
Separately, Hj Azizah Sri Widari, who is a spokesperson of the Batola Task Force for Handling Acceleration of COVID-19, said mass rapid test with sampling methods in Alalak Sub-district to be held on Saturday (May 30). 400 rapid test kits have been prepared.
She explained, her party would also register other regions, such as Alalak Pulau and Pulau Sugara.
