Amid the outbreak of COVID-19, Tapin District determined to implement the Computer-Based National Exam (UNBK) for Vocational High School (SMK) level, which begins today, March 16, 2020.


Contacted via Whatsapp, Head of Tapin Education Agency Hj Ahlul Jannah confirmed there has been no change in the UNBK schedule.

"There has been no notification for the schedule changes, so tomorrow the vocational high school UNBK will still be held," she said, Sunday night (March 15, 2020).

She explained, the UNBK schedule changes only apply to DKI Jakarta, while for other regions thre has been no change.

"We hope the implementation of UNBK will run smoothly," Ahlul Jannah said.

The agency head reminded the UNBK participants to avoid physical contact, such as shaking hands, kissing hands, and others in order to avoid spreading of coronavirus.

"Wash your hands with hand sanitizer or antiseptic before and after the exam, and avoid borrowing stationery," she said.

In addition, Ahlul urged the UNBK implementing schools to always maintain the cleanliness of classrooms for the convenience of UNBK participants.

Meanwhile, Director General of Disease Prevention and Control (P2P) of the Health Ministry Achmad Yurianto reported, 21 new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), binging the nationwide total number of infections to 117.

In Tapin District three vocational schools implement the UNBK, namely SMKN 1 Tapin Selatan, SMKN 1 Binuang, and SMKN 1 Rantau.
