Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan ( Antaranews) - Chairman of the South Kalimantan Advisory Board of the Indonesian Employers Association (Apindo) Adi Laksono said, the organization support export restrictions on raw mineral mining as the implementation of PP No. I/2004.

Adi here on Tuesday acknowledged, in the early stages of the implementation of government regulations is quite heavy and cumbersome for employers, but this will only take place at an early stage and some time alone .

"Furthermore, as the nature of the entrepreneurs will always adjust to the regulations, then the employers will be able to slowly adjust and overcome difficulties," he said.

Adi convinced, the ban for the long term will be very beneficial for the citizens of South Kalimantan, because it will not only create jobs, but also revive the real sector in the region.

During this time, he said, South Kalimantan is a number two mine producer in Indonesia after East Kalimantan, but in reality it does not bring much advantage to the community in the area.

With these provisions, he added , in addition to be able to withstand the rate of environmental degradation in South Kalimantan , it will also add value to the community large enough, when you've woken up the mining industries, as well as government programs.

"We have a feel for how the timber industry collapsed in just a few years, because we are exporting a massive timber, regardless of the impact on the environment and the welfare of peoples," he said.
