The Tanah Bumbu District Government has provided basic needs assistance to residents who are registered as Persons Under Monitoring (ODP) in Kusan Hilir.

"In Kusan Hilir Sub-district there are 12 heads of families who received basic food assistance. Previously we also provided assistance to residents living in the Sub-district of Simpang Empat, Batulicin, and Angsana," said Head of Tanah Bumbu Social Agency Basuni in Batulicin, Wednesday (April 1, 2020).

He said, in Simpang Empat there was one resident on the ODP list, three residents in Batulicin, and 11 in Angsana.

Basuni explained the provision of basic necessities was one form of the local government concern and responsive in the handling prevention of COVID-19 outbreak in the district.

"We sincerely hope that with this assistance, residents who in the ODP list will conduct self-quarantine and not to leave the house within the determined period," he pointed out.

At present, the local government continues to monitor all residents in the ODP list. Even to anticipate the transmission of coronavirus, the prevention task force sprayed disinfectant in several public facilities and places of worship.

In addition, the team checked body temperature every person across the border of Tanah Bumbu district. "We remain vigilant about the spread of the virus by implementing standard operating procedure (SOP) set by the central government as previously conveyed by the Tanah Bumbu Regional Secretary Rooswandi Salem," he concluded.
