The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in South Kalimantan rose by four to become five on Monday (March 30, 2020), the Provincial Government spokesman for COVID-19 Handling HM Muslim said.
Based on the laboratory results have been received by the Ulin Regional General Hospital on Monday, he said, there were an additional of four positive confirmed cases, so now there are five positive cases being treated.
In a press conference of the Task Force for the Acceleratin of COVID-19 Handling at the South Kalimantan Government's Command Center, via video received in Banjarmasin on Monday, HM Muslim said the five cases namely Ulin 01 patient from Banjarmasin, he is now in an improved and stable condition.
The four other cases are Ulin 09 patient, female (50) from Banjar District. Her status was previously Patient Under Surveillance (PDP),
Then Ulin 10, male (40), also from Banjar, still coughing but his breathing difficulty has decreased.
Ulin 11, male (56) from Banjarmasin, now entered the eighth day of treatment with still shortness of breath.
Finally Ulin 13, male (21), also entered the eighth day of treatment, referral from Tabalong, his condition is still coughing and shortness of breath.
Meanwhile, the condition of PDP namely, Ulin 14, female (36) from South Hulu Sungai (HSS) District, she is in stable condition.
Ulin 15, male (41) from Banjar, still has a fever and a bit short of breath,
Ulin 19, female from Banjarbaru, her condition stable, no complaints, Ulin 20, male (66), also from Banjarbaru, he is in the third day of treatment with cough and weak.
Ulin 21 patient is a baby (1 year) still having fever, cough, and nose running. Ulin 22, a three-year-old boy from Banjarmasin, in the third day of treatment there is a cough and runny nose.
One more addition, Ulin 23, male (47) from Banjarmasin, he has a cough and short of breath, and a history of travel from Surabaya.
Now the total number of patients being treated, related to COVID-19, in Ulin Hospital is 12. They consisted of seven PDP and five confirmed positives.
Whereas Persons Under Monitoring (ODP) rose from previously 1.143 to 1.162 people.
At present, the government together with the task force for prevention and acceleration of handling of COVID-19 continues to track the residents who come in contact with positive confirmed patients.
