President Jokowi's scheduled attendance at the height of the 2020 National Press Day (HPN) in South Kalimantan will be advanced one day from the previous Sunday (Feb 9) to Saturday (Feb 8).

"This is the decision as the result of the meeting in Jakarta between the central PWI committee and the State Secretary (Mensesneg)," Chief of South Kalimantan branch of the Indonesia Journalist Association (PWI) Zainal Helmie said in Banjarmasin, Saturday (Feb 1, 2020).

The change of schedule of the President, he said, was because of his state agenda on February 9, 2020, to visit Australia. Then the 2020 HPN committee was given a choice, whether the President to attend on February 8 or 11, 2020.

"On consideration that on February 11 many HPN delegates from all region will have returned home, then it was decided on February 8," Helmie explained.

Time of the implementation to be moved from morning to afternoon or after the peak event of President Jokowi's presence at the South Kalimantan Provincial Government office area in Banjarbaru.

"So is the place not yet to be determined whether it remains in Banjarbaru or it may change to Mahligai Pancasila in Banjarmasin or other location," he said.
