Banjarbaru Mayor Nadjmi Adhani won the 2019Wali Kota (Mayor) Entrepreneur Award from MarkPlus. Inc at the 2019 MarkPlus Conference in Jakarta.
Hermawan Kartajaya as the Founder of Innovation Network of Asia (INA) and Founder of Asia Marketing Federation (AMF) presented the award to the mayor on Thursday (Dec 4, 2019).
MarkPlus is a leading Southeast Asian professional services firm that serves companies and individuals in the areas of consulting, marketing research, education and media community. It was founded in 1990 by Hermawan Kartajaya.
"We are very grateful and proud for this award, because what we have done received national appreciation. This is the 23rd award won by Banjarbaru City during 2019," he remarked.

This award, according to him, could not be separated from the city govenment efforts to develop tourism potential by building various interesting places visited by local and outside communities.
The administration also improved green open space and building a number of thematic villages that makes Banjarbaru worth visiting, for the many interesting places it has.

"we also have launched Calender of Event in Yogyakarta and conducted a tourism promotion safari to all districts and cities in South Kalimantan and Central Kalimantan that make the city increasingly known," he pointed out.
