Regent H Sukamta said he guaranteed investment licensing in Tanah Laut District would be easy and fast. In fact, investors may build their businesses while handling of licensing.
"We are regents, mayors throughout Indonesia are instructed by President Jokowi to make licensing simplified, not to have too many conditions and convoluted. Therefore, I guarantee licensing in Tanah Laut will be easy and fast. In fact, investors are allowed to build their businesses while submitting their licenses. The money is for the people, not for me or the head of agencies," he affirmed.
He said investment was an important thing, because the government could not always depend on local budget (APBD). "We cannot only rely on the APBD, we need private investment, therefore we must facilitate licensing so that investors flock to Tanah Laut," he remarked.

While related to economic policy measures, the Tanah Laut Government increases consumption in the community and uses of government funds and private investment.
"If public consumption rises, income will rise," he said when opening the Socialization of Integrated Investment Management Services in the Framework of Improving the Investment Climate in Tanah Laut Regency in 2019 at Bappeda Tanah Laut, Tuesday (11/18).

He explained, in his era of leadership all sub-districts in Tanah Laut received injections of Rp1 billion for religious and social activities.

The Regent emphasized that the APBD is used appropriately and helps the community's economy through infrastructure development, as a support for community production, thus the production costs decline and the benefits to the community increase.
"We make agricultural roads and provide farm machine tools so that transport costs and production costs incurred are less and more efficient, while the profits obtained by farmers increase" he explained.
