State-owned oil and gas company Pertamina makes sure fuel quota, including 3-kilogram canisters of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), for Kalimantan is safe until the end of the year 2019.
"We make sure fuel in Kalimantan, especially subsidized fuel, diesel, gasoline, and 3kg LPG, are safe and sufficient," GM Pertamina MOR VI Boy Frans Justus Lapian in Balikpapan noted in a press-release through Whatsapp.
He assured people do not need to worry, subsidized fuel and LPG in safe condition. The remaining quota will be distributed on target and sufficient until the end of year.
To ensure that subsidized fuel and LPG are distributed according to regulation, Pertamina conducts supervision through chanelling institution, including to oblige gas station (SPBU) to install CCTV, periodic sudden inspection, and monitoring fuel sales at gas stations.
As for 3 kg LPG, Pertamina also applies routine monitoring, sudden inspection, and monitoring of sales at agents and bases those have been integrated into the system.
The company also coordinate with the law enforcement if violations found in fuel or LPG distribution.

He said, Pertamina awares that supervision of subsidized fuel and LPG could not be done alone. The company provide call center access number 135 for the public to inform anything related to services or indication of irregulaties at the distribution channels.
"We appeal residents to participate in supervising subsidized fuel and LPG. If any indication of misleading in SPBU, agent, or bases, do not hesitate to report to Pertamina's call center at 135 for things within Pertamina's authority. But of there are matters in law area we certainly will coordinate with law enforcement," Boy explained.

Meanwhile, the Pertamina Kalimantan Region Communication, Relation and CSR Manager Heppy Wulansari informed that the quota for subsidized diesel fuel for Kalimantan was set by the government at 906.925 kiloliter and until October the consumption has been realized 752.522 kiloliter.
Gasoline quota 1.134.213 kiloliters and the realization till October was 987.444 kiloliters. While 3 kg LPG quota in 2019 amounted to 374.824 metric ton and has been realized 307.392 metric ton until October.

In addion, Pertamina has to make sure the availability of non-subsidized gasoline type fuel, namely Pertalite, Pertamax dan Pertamax Turbo, and also for gasoil (Dexlite and Pertamina Dex), including non-subsidized LPG for 5,5 Kg or 12 Kg.
"The supply of non-subsidized fuel and LPG are also in safe condition. As they are not subsidized, we can meet what ever need of the people," said Heppy.
