The Tabalong Forest Management Office (KPH) organized simultaneous planting activities from schools environment, hospitals, till the city forest.

Head of Forest Protection of the KPH Zainal Abidin said the planting of thousands of green plants and fruit seedlings to support the provincial program of green revolution.

"Beside in the city forest, the mass planting took place in hospital, Islamic junior high school of MTs Bilas Village and high vocational school SMKN Jaro," Zainal said.

The thousands of seedlings of Trembesi, Meranti, Ketapang Kencana, and fruits were of the assistance of South Kalimantan Forestry Agency. 500 seedling for the District Hospital of H Badaruddin Kasim, 150 for Bataman City Forest, and other 500 for schools.

Govenment employees, TNI members, Polri members, KPH, scouts, mining company PT Adaro and partners, and residents paticipated in the simultaneous planting action, which centered at the Bataman City Forest in Murung Pudak.

"This simultaneous planting action aims to raise people awareness of the important of forest and land rehabilitation," said the Tabalong District Secretary Abdul Muthalib Sangadji, who led the action.
