Banjar Programmed Minapolitan Area

Martapura, South Kalimantan, 23/7 (Antaranews) - The Banjar district government programmed to develop Minapolitan area and industrialization of fisheries  to accelerate the welfare of local farmers.

Head of Banjar Fisheries and Marine, Noor Ifansyah Fani, here on Tuesday, said the program is a priority to be implemented.

According to him, the concept covers the entire potential of the community and supported by relevant agencies in various sectors. "This concept has been outlined in the work plan matrix of Minapolitan development," he said.

Related to the development of regional fisheries industrialization, Noor Ifansyah Fani hope this concept encourages the creation of integrated and comprehensive system processing and marketing of fishery products with an end attainment of "economic blue", meaning that the creation of a whole series of production processing of fish upstream to downstream leaving no waste.

Achieving this, he said, it is important to remember  2015 coming into force of global trade world.
