The South Hulu Sungai (HSS) District Administration has again won the national honor in transportation Wahana Tata Nugraha (WTN) award. 

The acting head of the district Transportation Agency Sasmi Rifani here on Monday (16/9) said, the Transportation Ministry's Director General of Land Transportation Sugiharjo submitted the award to HSS District Secretary HM Noor at JCC Plennary Hall Jakarta, Sunday (15/09).  

"HSS was one of the districts in South Kalimantan who won the WTN with a note," he pointed out.

He said, the central government has awarded HSS the 2019 WTN in the category of small city for the district successful in developing and improving transportation and traffic.

Although the HSS administration won the achievement, he remained to acknowledged that there are still many things must be improved in the future, especially related to residents' awareness in orderly traffic.

Beside, the city's means of transportation are expected to improve and give a secure and comfortable service to the citizens and traffic users in the HSS.

“Let us together improve public service for citizens in safe and comfortable traffic in accordance with regulation,” he said.

Other districts who also awarded with 2019 WTN were four without a note, namely Banjarmasin, Banjarbaru, Banjar and Tabalong, While three with a note, they were Tanah Laut, HSS and Kotabaru.
