WingsAir Expected to Open New Route

Kotabaru, (Antaranews, South Kalimantan) - Most people in Kotabaru, South Kalimantan, expecting Wings Air add new routes and flight schedules  in it’s operating in Gusti Syamsir Alam Airport , Stagen,

 

“If possible, Wings Air open new routes in view of high public interest in the flight service,”  said Vice Chairman II of STKIP Paris Barantai Kotabaru, Rony Safryansah, here on Wednesday.

 

Since Wings Air operates in Stagen Airport, to route Kotabaru-Banjarmasin, available seatings are always full of passengers. One of the high public interest, because the ticket prices are relatively cheap  about Rp200,000.

 

"We take much benefit  from the flight, because a trip to Banjarmasin only takes about 50 minutes," he said.

 

If compared with land transportation, it takes eight to 10 hours to get to Banjarmasin. Not to mention the line at the ferry Port of Tanjung Serdang, then the travel time will be longer.

 

Wing Air operates ATR-72 aircraft, with a seating capacity of 72 seats, to serve  Kotabaru-Banjarmasin. Rony hopes for the future flight  route can be added  with Kotabaru-Jakarta.

 

Meanwhile, to help facilitate air transportation, airport Stagen open up to the addition of the open flight Kotabaru-Banjarmasin, Balikpapan and Kotabaru--Makassar.
