Nearly 2,000 hajj pilgrims have arrived home of the total 4.172 South Kalimantan pilgrims departed for hajj to the Holy Land this year.
"Almost 2,000 or exactly 1.924 hajj pilgrims from four flight groups (keloter) have arrived home," Head of South Kalimantan Office of Ministryof Religious Affairs (Kanwil Kemenag Kalsel) H Noor Fahmi remarked, Tuesday (27/8).
"And today is the coming of as many as 324 hajj pilgrim of flight group 04 from Central Hulu Sungai (HST) District," he said.
Actually, he added, HST has 325 pilgrims when they departed from Banjarmasin Embarkation, but they became 324 when arrived home. It was because one hajj pilgrim, by the name of Hasratinor binti Salman (44) passed away on August 21 at the An-Noor Hospital Saudi Arabia and was buried at the Sharaya, Mekkah.
He explained that the process of hajj pilgrims arrival from Syamsuddin Noor Airport to the Hajj Dormitory of Banjarmasin Embarkation has been facilitated by the Indonesian Hajj Commitee (PPIH) of the Banjarmasin Debarkation.

While their returning home to their respective district of cities have been facilitated by their local government, including all items they brought home, also zamzam water. Not only in transportation, the service also for their dishes all have been prepared by local government when they arrived at the dormitory.
Meanwhile, the Computerized Integrated Hajj System (Siskohat) of the Kemenag Kalsel monitoring as of August 25 reported, 10 hajj pilgrim of the Banjarmasin Embarkation died, six from South Kalimantan and four from Central Kalimantan.
