The "Haruan Jamil Merona" snack menu succeeded in bringing the Central Hulu Sungai (HST)'s Family Planning Movement (PKK) team to win the all-fish cooking competition held by the South Kalimantan Marine and Fisheries Office.

The menu presented by PKK Sub-District of Labuan Amas Selatan (LAS) succeeded in capturing the chefs of the jury and came out second in the snack menu.

"In the competition, HST sent three groups, namely PKK Haruyan at the family menu competition, PKK Hantakan joined the toddler menu and PKK LAS on the Snack menu," said Head of Fisheries Division of the HST Food and Fisheries Agency Adriani Razak, Friday (9/8) in Barabai.

The 17th provincial all-round fish cooking competition was held in Banjarbaru with a variety of fish menu themes to nourish the community, also to prevent stunting and educate children.

The all-fish cooking competition also aims to explore the creativity of mothers in processing fish meat into a menu favored by all family members.

"We know that fish meat is rich in protein, other vitamins which are very good for supporting health and improving intelligence," Adriani said.

The Chairwoman of the HST PKK Hj Ernawati who witnessed the competition appreciated the success of her team to win second place in the snack menu.

"This is a motivation for all of us to process fish dishes to be more interesting and creative, while maintaining the nutritional quality. Also as a form of support to socialize the national fish eating movement," she said.
