Fire incident in Sungai Pandan Subdistrict burned down nine houses and damaged one other house due to the effects of spraying from the firefighters who tried to extinguish the fire.


The disaster at 02.00 am predawn on Monday (5/8) was quite a surprise to the residents of the village of Hambuku Tengah RT 02 Sungai Pandan District (Alabio) who were mostly fast asleep.
 
"Hopefully the affected family can undergo this test with courage and patience. I can understand the feelings of grief from the victims because my family and I also had experienced a fire accident in 1996," said Chairwoman of the North Hulu Sungai PKK Anisah Rasyidah Wahid in Alabio on Tuesday.

Anisah representing the District Government of HSU handed over basic food aid and money to the victims of the fire. The regent could not come directly to deliver aid because there were other activities.
 
The disaster burned down 10 residents' houses, with details of 8 homes 100 percent burned, 1 house 50 percent burned, and 1 house 25 percent. As a result, 12 family heads with 36 people lost their homes. There were no fatalities in this disaster.

The victims of the fire disaster also received assistance in the form of food supplies from the Muhammadiyah Branch Management of the Central Hulu Sungai District and Tapin District.

The day before the donation of basic food supplies and kitchen equipment handed over from the Social Service and rice assistance from the Food Security Agency of the District of HSU.
