Banjarmasin - The Banjarnmasin Tourism and Culture Agency (Dispar) starting this week deploy Sapta Pesona instructors to educate visitors in recreational areas in the city.


The Sapta Pesona instructors who were recruited from the Banjarmasin Forum Komunitas Hijau (Green Community Forum) assigned to crowded tourist sites in the city, such as Siring Tendean and Zero Kilometer Siring Sudirman, said the Head of the Tourism Development Division of the agency M Khuzaimi here , Monday.

According to Khuzaimi, the instructors through the microphone continue to remind the visitors to be smart visitors by not littering, especially in the river, and always maintaining mutual security.

Then the instructor educates the street vendors to keep the environment clean, by providing their own garbage bins near the business location, so that food waste is not scattered everywhere. In particular, traders of pentol (meatball) who are considered to have contributed significantly to rubbish.

The visitors are also reminded to look after the greenery and gardens that exist in order to preserve the beauty and coolness.

In addition, the instructors reminded visitors to be careful with guarding their own valuables, and not to dress in conspicuous metal, because in crowded locations pickpockets usually roam around for prey.

These instructors will be on duty every Sunday, or certain days where there is a booming tourist visit to this city.

With the existence of the instructors, Banjarmasin tourism is expected to be stretched and in accordance with the Sapta Pesona, namely tourism that meets  an understanding of security, orderliness, cleanliness, freshness, beauty, friendliness and memories.
