South Kalimantan haj candidates from the Banjarmasin embarkation who are already in Mecca occupy a residence of about 2 kilometers from the Al-Haram Mosque, which is in the Rei Bakhsy area.


Head of the South Kalimantan Ministry Office of Religious Affairs Milistry H Noor Fahmi through the Head of Haj Section H Hidayaturrahman here on Monday said two flight groups (keloter), namely keloter one and two, of the haj candidates, had been in Mecca since Sunday (21/7).

"They were placed at the Nokhba 2 Hotel in the Rei Bakhsy area, a distance of about two kilometers from the Al-Haram Mosque, according to the Hajj supervisor report to us," he said.

The calhaj receive free transportation facilities, are transported by sholawat buses to perform worship while in Mecca, especially to the Grand Mosque.

"All the candidates have implemented mandatory Umrah, and they are also reported to be in good condition, there are no health problems that are worrying," he explained.

Dayat said, some of the haj candidates had only experienced mild pain, such as coughing, dizziness and a little chill.

"That is termed ordinary sickness, because of the influence of the weather experienced by the haj candidates," he said.
