Regent North Hulu Sungai (HSU) H. Abdul Wahid released the departure of haj candidates pilgrims. The event took place in front of the Grand Mosque At Taqwa Amuntai.
"We hope that you will be able to perform your prayers as well as possible and get the title of hajj mabrur," Wahid said in his remark in Amuntai on Tuesday.
He said, the HSU pilgrims who departed in 2019 amounted to 262 people plus 5 flight group officers. HSU pilgrim departed on the first wave of the 6th flight group of Banjarmasin embarkation joined the group from Banjar Regency.
The congregation departed after the Asr prayer, witnessed by the Deputy Regent of HSU, District Secretary, speaker of the DPRD, Chairwoman of the TP PKK, Head of the HSU office of Ministry of Religious Affair and the community who participated in seeing off the departure.
The sobs of family and relatives colored the procession of the departure of the pilgrims who were going to the holy land.
Wahid advised the haj candidates to pray "for HSU and its people to be more advanced, independent, prosperous, religious and productive (MANTAP).
Another message is for all pilgrims to maintain mutual cohesiveness, cooperation, harmony and mutual cooperation with fellow pilgrims while in the holy land.
Wahid also prayed for all pilgrims who wished that they would always be healthy until they safely returned home to banua.
