Banjarbaru Mayor Nadjmi Adhani has set a target to realize Banjarbaru as Smart City by 2020 through strengthening infrastructure and human resources.


"We are targeting Smart City for Banjarbaru to materialize in 2020 and have prepared a budget to make it happen," the mayor said after delivering the draft General Budget Policies and Provisional Budget Ceiling and Priorities (KUA-PPAS) in Banjarbaru, Tuesday.

The draft budget included in the 2020 APBD was delivered at the DPRD plenary session and marked the submission of documents to the DPRD Speaker AR Iwansyah and two council leaders.

Mayor said, according to the theme of development in 2020 the draft APBD was directed at the development of infrastructure and human resources to support the use of information technology.

"Throughout 2020, development is directed at infrastructure and improving the quality of human resources to realize Smart City but still paying attention to development in other sectors," he said.

The summary of the 2020 APBD projection includes projected revenues of Rp1.09 trillion consisting of PAD (locally derived income) derived from taxes, levies, wealth management and other legitimate PAD. Then the balance fund of Rp763.5 billion from tax/non-tax revenue sharing, General Allocation Funds (DAU) and Special Allocation Funds (DAK).

While regional expenditure in 2020 is projected to be Rp1.2 trillion with detailed indirect expenditure of Rp447.1 billion and direct expenditure allocated Rp731.1 billion.
