The South Kalimantan Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs official ensured all haj candidates had undergone manasik haji (haj rehearsal), ie twice at the district or city levels and eight times at the sub-district level.


"So 100 percent of the manasik haji have been completed, both twice at the district or city level and eight times at the sub-district level," said Head ofHajj Division of the South Kalimantan Regional Office H Hidayaturrahman in Banjarmasin on Tuesday.

The final lesson to this fifth pillar of Islam, he said, will be continued at the final session before the haj candidates depart to the holy land. It will be stabilizing the understanding of the pilgrim when they have entered the hajj dormitory.

"So when it was in the holy land the haj candidates already know what to do. There they also received direct guidance from the haj coaches in each flight group (keloter)," he explained.

Hidayat said, the manasik haji not only to learn about worship but also related to government policies regarding the 2019 haj. "Including domestic and abroadhaj trips, all must know the rules," he pointed out.

In addition, he said, lessons about the practice of haj, haj jurisprudence (fiqih haji), akhlakul karimah, and haj wisdom. "What is very, very important is how to worship tawaf, sa'i, throwing jumrah and wukuf," he said.

According to him all this is important to know clearly the pilgrims and can practice it later in the holy land of Mecca and Medina, because it relates to the legitimacy of the Hajj.

Meanwhile, he said, the process of hajj departure is currently preparing documents for pilgrims, especially the making of visas.

The departure of the Banjarmasin Embarkation pilgrimage at Syamsuddin Noor Airport began on July 6, 2019 for the first wave. The number of candidates for the pilgrimage of South Kalimantan who will depart as many as 4,136 people are divided into 13 flight group (keloter).
