Travelers at Syamsudin Noor Airport were diagnosed mostly with hypertension when checking their health at the Eid-al-Fitr integrated transportation post.


Officer of the Class II Banjarmasin Health Office Nor Isnaniah said, since the D-7 to enter the homecoming (mudik) backflow, 67 people had conducted health checks.

"We check blood pressure, the result was their blood pressure or heart rate was higher than normal," she said in Banjarbaru on Saturday.

This nurse at the Port Health Office explained, normally healthy adult blood pressure is between 90/60 mmHg and 120/60 mmHg. While at the time of inspection, the travelers at Syamsudin Noor Airport were mostly above 140, so they were diagnosed with certain heart function disorders.

"The causes of hypertension can vary, such as smoking, obesity, lack of physical activity, excessive alcohol consumption to stress," said the woman.

Free health services provided by the Port Health Office put five officers assisted by six nurses from the South Kalimantan Health Office.
