Yellow Troops or janitors in Banjarmasin City can be relieved because they are given incentives to work during Eid holidays.

Head of Environmental Agency (DLH) Mukhyar in Banjarmasin on Tuesday revealed that the Rp1.5 million incentive was in lieu of THR (Idul Fitri bonus).

"We have disbursed it, actually the form is not THR, but additional income on certain days they work is paid ahead of the holiday," Mukhyar explained.

According to him, the incentives for janitors in this city in their ordinary working days are stored to be disbursed before the holidays, so as though they are getting THR.

"Because there is no THR budget for them, this is the solution," explained Mukhyar.

There are around 1300 janitors in the provincial capital. Their monthly income is Rp1.6 million, while the driver of the cleaning fleet is around Rp1.9 million.

"Their welfare continues to be improved every year, because they are very instrumental in the success of the environment so that the city is awarded the Adipura trophy," he said.
