Tanjung, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - South Kalimantan Regional Police's Mobile Brigade (Brimob) bomb squad detonated a suspicious object suspected of being a bomb in the parking lot of Serina Shop in Mabuun, Murung Pudak Sub-district, Tabalong Regency, Sunday morning.


Sc Insp (Ipda) Zainul Arifin, a team member, said previously the mysterious object had been analyzed with a bomb detection device.

"The X ray analysis results in a number of materials in the form of cables and devices that are suspected as connectors," Zainul explained.

X-rays were carried out with open vision and a test scan at the object discovery site, which was then sterilized before blasting.

After being blown up an alleged bomb object was destroyed and took out all its contents. The team itself has not been able to provide definitive information about a mysterious object that had caused a commotion among residents of Mabuun Urban Village that Sunday morning.

"For more accurate information, we will do further checks," explained Zainul.

Previously a black box-shaped object was discovered by one of the employees of Serina Shop on Sunday morning. Then the store reported the suspicious object to the Tabalong police station.
