Kandangan, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Bank Kalsel for 55 years has been faced with various challenges and obstacles that have alternated, both from the internal side of the bank and from the effects of industrial globalization which often have a significant influence on bank operations, said Kandangan Branch Head of Bank Kalsel Andhy Andriyawan.


Andriyawan delivered a written speech from the Board of Directors of the Bank Kalsel on Monday (3/25) morning, during the commemoration of the 55th anniversary of the bank in Kandangan.

More and more years, he said, Bank Kalsel became one of the regional government-owned enterprises (BUMD) which was increasingly taken into account and respected. With the motto "For a better area" Bank Kalsel is ready to continue to grow and develop with a commitment to provide the best service to the community.

He said currently the bank is being "prepared" to face the industrial revolution era 4.0, including the rampant financial technology (fintech), the application of robotic engineering systems in the manufacturing industry, the emergence of digital money, digital transactions, and other activities.

Bank Kalsel is required to make changes, various innovations in order to adapt to the digital technology era. Slowly it has been done and provides tangible benefits in supporting the convenience and comfort of customers in making transactions.

According to him, to achieve a vision that is not easy, it must begin with self-awareness to improve and empower yourself, always give the best and focus on carrying out each task carried out.

"Without hard work, positive thinking, creative and innovative from all elements, it is impossible for the demands to improve the competitiveness of the company we can achieve," he said.

In a series of 55th Anniversary at the Kandangan branch of Bank Kalsel held a blood donor in collaboration with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) HSS. A total of 47 employees, including Sub-Branch Office (Capem) employees donated blood.

In addition, gatherings will be held with entrepreneurs and related government agencies on Monday (4/15) in the Regency Hall with the aim of establishing synergy with the theme "Government business ecosystem".
