There is a former Persipura Jayapura player, Andri Ibo, ex-Persitoli Tolikara, Jacob Sayuri, and former PS Bali Badung player Muhammad Afandi Yusuf who is the younger brother of Barito Putera's attacker Samsul Arif.
         
Barito Putera also recruited 19-year-old junior players Kahar Muzakir, Ferdiansyah and Yuswanto.
         
In addition, Barito Putera retained several of his senior players, Poulo Sitanggang, Aditya Harlan, Nazar Nurzaidin, Rony Beroperay, Sandy Ferizal, Nazarul Fahmi, Adi Setiawan and Muhammad Rajiv.
         
Barito Putera already has two foreign players, Arthur Jesus and Lucas Silva from Brazil for the position of defender.
       
The club manager H Hasnuryadi Sulaiman HB in Banjarmasin, Sunday, said his team is still hunting for players, even though they already had 29 players who were officially contracted.
         
"Especially foreign players, we still have our quota, so we will look for it," said the son of Barito Putera's founder, the late H Sulaiman HB.
