When testing the Palapa Ring Middle network at the Pratama Tahuna Tax Office, he said, the internet network facilities continued to be improved by the government to make it easier for people to communicate.
"With the functioning of this facility, all services to the community will be easier, such as for the benefit of schools, health centers, airports and ports and other public services," he said.
He gave an example for the field of education that distance learning can be carried out for students in remote areas by teachers and lecturers in more advanced educational institutions.
In addition, many public services have used internet facilities for investment licensing in provincial cities and can be done easily.
"Several cities including Jakarta have used internet facilities, including in handling of permits service that can be completed within a few hours," Rusdiantara said.
During the trial of the Middle Palapa Ring network, a video call was also held with Finance Minister Sri Mulyani, North Sulawesi Governor Olly Dondokambey, Regent of Sangihe Jabes Gaghana who communicated with Health Minister Nila Moeloek and other state officials in Jakarta and Bandung.
