On that basis, Banjarbaru Mayor Nadjmi Adhani, who is trusted as Vice President of Citynet Chapter Indonesia for the period 2017-2021 wants to make cities in Indonesia interrelated to form networks.
The way is to build inter-city networks in Indonesia so that developing and developed regions can share experiences, till other regions come forward and eventually be able to improve people's welfare.

For Banjarbaru, who from the beginning became a member of Citynet, the title of Healthy City and its achievement in the management of "Ideal Hospital" (RS Idaman) became two excellent programs could be an example for other regions to develop.
"The predicate as a Healthy City and Idaman Hospital management are considered successful, both of them are examples we want to share with other regions so that the success can be followed," he said.
Regarding his position as vice president, Nadjmi said he is ready to socialize the Citynet program to the regency and city governments throughout Indonesia to join in.
Citynet chapter Indonesia has 23 members spread across the districts and cities, one of which is Banjarbaru, which is considered successful to organize and build urban areas to the better and more modern.
Citynet is an Asia Pacific regional network organization established in 1987 and has more than 130 members, consisting of city and district governments spread across 20 countries, NGOs, and development authorities.
This organization specializes in sustainable (SDG'S) urban development with a focus on climate change, disaster risk reduction, and infrastructure development activities through intercity cooperation.
Citynet promotes the exchange of knowledge, skills and techniques through four main program areas, training programs, seminars and forums, technical consulting services and intercity technical cooperation in developing countries.
Meanwhile, the Antara National News Agency, as the only state news agency, will give awards to the regional government who have a strong commitment to improve community welfare.
The Chairman of the Assessment Team Syamsuddin said the aim of the program is to change the mindset of the community to be better, and to encourage the welfare of the community.
