Kotabaru, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - In order for its territory to become a Corruption Free and Clean Serving Bureaucracy (WBK/WBBM), the Kotabaru Customs and Excise Supervision and Service Office (KPPBC) Type Medium C, South Kalimantan, has declared an integrity zone (ZI).
Head of KPPBC Kotabaru Bagus Sulistijono said this declaration is a manifestation of the implementation of Presidential Regulation Number 81/2010 concerning Grand Design of Bureaucratic Reform.
"Bureaucratic reform is one of the first steps in structuring a system of good, effective and efficient governance so that it can serve the community quickly, appropriately, and professionally," he said on Friday.
The target is to achieve three main targets, namely increasing the capacity and accountability of the organization, a clean and free government, and improving public services.
"Particularly within the Ministry of Finance, there is an instruction from the Minister of Finance to accelerate and multiple units that have the title WBK-WBBM," said Bagus.
The launching of ZI towards WBK-WBBM 2019 in KPPBC Kotabaru was attended by representatives of various agencies, surveyors, importers, PPJK and shipping agents. The invitees gave signatures as a form of support to the KPPBC Kotabaru to realize ZI towards the 2019 WBBM.
In line with these steps, KPPBC Kotabaru continues to improve the professionalism of human resources, the independent procedure system and cut manual bureaucracy into online.
If manual bureaucracy is deemed to be less transparent, difficult to control and inefficiency, to overcome these various online services are developed, such as loading permits, unloading permits, storage permits, and redress manifest.
"We continue to make efforts to develop a service and supervision system so that service users will feel comfortable, easy, cheap. Everything is intended to realize the determination that legal is easy and cheap," said Bagus.
Efforts to improve and innovate have produced a number of results. Among the achievements were BM/BK revenues IDR 5.2 billion or 128.69 percent of the 2018 revenue target, the seizure of Rp1.4 million illegal cigarettes, and the highest service user satisfaction index among Customs Offices in South Kalimantan and Central Kalimantan.
