Batola Regent Hj Noormiliyani AS through the Assistant for Governance M Anthony said the 2019 UMP value increased by 8.03 per cent from IDR 2,454,671.80 to Rp2,651,781. The UMP is effective from 1 January 2019.

"It is my hope that with the issuance of the Governor of South Kalimantan's Decree on the 2019 UMP on November 1, which is determined based on the Ministry of Manpower Circular, to be accepted and grateful and adhered to by all parties," she said.

To the private company, the regent asked to really be able to comply with the Governor's Decree by complying with the wages of workers according to the 2019 South Kalimantan UMP.
