Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - A Zenith drug dealer was caught in a raid held by the Banjarmasin City's Traffic Unit Police(Satlantas).
"The perpetrator was found carrying 1,000 Zenith tablets during a motor vehicle examination raid," said Head of Drug Detective Unit Police (Satresnarkoba) Comr Herry Purwanto in Banjarmasin, Friday.
He said the suspect GW (50) initially passing on his motorbike, when traffic officers conducted a raid in Samsat (Vehicle Document Registration Center) Banjarmasin Office yard on Jalan Brigjen H Hasan Basry, Monday (2/7) afternoon.
"The perpetrator's movements are suspicious and he was then searched and 10 boxes found containing 1,000 Zenith allegedly to be circulated," Herry revealed.
Upon the findings, the suspect submitted to the Drug Detective Unit for further legal process.
He was charged under Article 197 of Law No. 36/2009 and or Article 112 paragraph (1) of Law No. 35/2009 on Narcotics.
Herry said, members are still trying to do the development to uncover the network of other suspects.
