Tapin, S Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - The atmosphere of shade is felt when driving across the protocol road, precisely from Binuang to Tambarangan, and continue to Rantau in Tapin District until Kandangan in South Hulu Sungai (HSS) District.


Along those we can see result of the Green Revolution Movement which was initiated by South Kalimantan Governor H Sahbirin Noor since the 2016 by encouraging people to continue planting, planting, and planting for the benefit of grand children in the future.

Evidently, if previously along Jalan Yani Tapin to South Hulu Sungai the condition of the air was quite hot, now the area looks shady along with the fertile growth of thick trembesi planted by the community, local government and the South Kalimantan Forest Agency.

Similar scenery can also be seen when we cross the area of Kintap to go to Tanah Bumbu District. Trembesi plants also look high and fertile here.

M Noor Aini, a motorcycle driver from Banjarmasin, said that the rain tree in the Binuang protocol road, Tambarangan to Kandangan are very beneficial for motorists, especially those who drive two-wheeled vehicles.

"I myself really enjoy the shade under the tree  to rest for a moment. The atmosphere is quite beautiful scenery, while cooling the motorcycle engine, before going back to Banjarmasin," he said when met at Jalan Pemuda, Binuang Subdistrict, Monday (18/6) afternoon.

Aini prayed that the trembesi plant thrives because the benefits are very large to overshadow the road body.
 
The same thing was expressed by Sulaiman, a resident of Rantau. He said the region has been decades felt barren. But as a number of trembesi planted by the government and surrounding communities, now the atmosphere is shady.
