In addition, he added, the decline in air transport demand compared to the beginning of the year, is relatively keeping inflationary conditions to remain stable.
As for monthly inflation, in June 2018 is expected to be higher compared to May 2018 as the demand increases, entering the end of Ramadhan and approacing Idul Fitri.
The inflation was triggered mainly by commodities such as foodstuffs, ready-made food, and air transport tickets.
Nevertheless, South Kalimantan's annual inflation rate in 2018 is expected to remain within the target range of 3.75 percent, as a national inflation target of 3.51 percent.
Meanwhile, the realization of CPI inflation in South Kalimantan in May 2018 recorded at 0.16 percent, higher than the previous month by 0.11 percent. This inflation is driven by increased core inflation.
