Batulicin, South Kalimantan 17/4 (AntaranewsKalsel) - Tanah Bumbu Government involves companies in the district effort to succeed the program of 1,000 outstanding teachers.
Regent Mardani H. Maming in Batulicin on Monday said the program of 1,000 teachers not only rely on local budget (APBD), but also took companies to participate through their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
"Among these are three companies namely PT Sungai Danau Jaya (SDJ), PT BUMA and PT TBR which have disbursed CSR funds Rp1, 2 billion to support the program," he said.
The 1000 teacher program is implemented over the next five years, targeting each year to send 200 outstanding teachers to an education course at the Surya Institute Foundation in Tangerang.
In 2017 or the first stage as many as 60 outstanding teachers are dispatched for training and financed by APBD.
Then second phase 50 outstanding teachers sent using CSR fund from PT SDJ, PT BUMA and PT TBR. So the target of sending 200 teachers in the period of 2017 still less 90 teachers.
"We will ask all companies in Tanah Bumbu who have not been involved yet to participate in the success of the Tanah Bumbu government program which is currently implemented," he added.
According to him, the program of 1000 outstanding teachers is an effort of the district government to improve the quality of human resources of educators or teachers, so that in the future can create more students who excel for the progress of Tanah Bumbu.
